基礎英語141では次のようなセリフがありました。

Peter : Hello, Olivia. It's been a while, isn't it?

英語らしい最愛の態度を表す呼びかけの言葉が使われています。相手の名前はもちろん、色々な呼びかけの言葉によって、親愛の気持ちを表したり、言っていることを弱めたり、相手との距離を縮めたりすることができます。
