「一緒に物事に取り掛かりましょう」と相手に促すときの定番のフレーズです。Let's はLet us ということですから Let's start 「始めよう」と言うよりも「さあ一緒に始めましょう」という感じなので柔らかいニュアンスになります。started は過去形でなく過去分詞です。《 get＋動詞の過去分詞の型で「～される（動作）」》というニュアンスなので get started 「始まっている／始まる」となります。
