相手に今いる場所の周辺についてよ知らないと伝えるときのフレーズです。familiar は「（物・事の内容に）熟知・精通している」という意味の形容詞で I’m not familiar with 〜 で「私は〜についてよく知らない」となります。 似たような表現に stranger「（場所に）不案内な人」を使って I’m a stranger in this area 「私はこの辺りには不慣れなんです」と言うこともできます。

Me neither：私も～ない
⏩ neitherは「どちらもない」「～もない」という意味です。Me neitherは相手が言った否定文に対して「私も（～ない）ですよ」と、同意するときに用いるやわらかい表現です。Me too とセットで覚えておくと便利です。ただ、Me tooが［肯定分と否定分の両方に使える］のに対して、Me neither は［否定分の場合のみ］になります。ドラマ内では「明日は特に予定がなにもないよ」に対して、Me neithe「僕も(ない)」と言っています。似た表現に eitherもありますが、使う場合は I don't（ have any plans, ）either フォーマルな言い方の場合はNeither did I となります。neitheには［ニーザー／ナイザー］eitherは［イーザー／アイザー］の発音がそれぞれあります。
